Grant Sumsion clears debris with his tractor for a senior citizen in Springville as part of the United Way Day of Caring project.

Our Exchange Club participated in the annual United Way Day of Caring on Thursday, September 6. More than 700 people participated in various service projects throughout Utah County.
Our project took place at the home of a senior citizen in Springville. Our club members sanded and painted her garage door, painted her outdoor railing, trimmed trees and helped clear A LOT of overgrowth and debris from her yard. |

Our group went above and beyond and did a lot of work that wasn’t even part of the original project plan. You can see more photos at www.unitedwayuc.org

| With the help of Grant’s tractor, his tractor driving skills, and many volunteers who shoveled loads for the tractor to pick up, we filled a dumpster three times and helped make a difference for a sweet senior citizen who could have done none of this by herself. |
